When you think about the most evil villains of all time, there are a few obvious candidates. The Joker, Joffrey Baratheon, and Voldemort to name but a few. But there’s a new contender in town, and he’s big, pink and wants you to call him Daddy.
Anyway – back on Planet Earth, William and Jordan have much to discuss regarding whether Henry gives a good suck and a top tip for removing spice from unwanted locations.

Jordan 0:01:44 Hello and welcome to our Friday episode where we see how much extra content we can squeeze into your week. Random things that have been sent in, extra bits that have been going on, and how our advice went down with you, our wonderful GND-ers.
William 0:01:56 How are you?
Jordan 0:01:57 Yeah, I'm good, I'm good.
William 0:01:58 What are you up to this weekend? Oh, damn it.
Jordan 0:02:03 Sorry, I nearly did it. I nearly did it. I've got a family Toy Story 5 event, like a family day. Got my best mate from back home coming down with kids.
William 0:02:10 How many Toy Story 5 events are you doing?
Jordan 0:02:13 You know, it's a lot. I'm part of the team, the cast now.
William 0:02:15 Okay, you and Tom and—
Jordan 0:02:17 Tom and Tim aren't there for this one.
William 0:02:19 Tom and Tim. I just realised they're called Tom and Tim.
Jordan 0:02:21 Yeah, Tom and Tim.
William 0:02:21 Tim and Tom.
Jordan 0:02:22 Tom and Tim aren't there, but they've sent their love, so I'm representing them. I've got a bit of padel on Saturday, and Friday I'm just having— oh, going to, going to tennis. But yeah, you know.
William 0:02:36 Oh, well, lovely. We'll have a nice time at the tennis.
Jordan 0:02:40 At tennis.
William 0:02:41 There's no point asking me what I'm doing because we all know the answer.
Jordan 0:02:43 What are you doing this week? Yeah, but what are you doing?
William 0:02:45 Working.
Jordan 0:02:45 All right. Oh, sorry, first time he's got a proper job and he's already got a face like a slapped arse. Welcome to the real world. Welcome to the real world. Oh, I bet your mum never said that to you. 4-show weekend. I got my first job to pay my board. I went, that's my money. She went, welcome to the real world. And she said, I'll tell you what, if you can find a house where they pay £25 a week board, they do all your washing, your ironing, and you get a roof over your head and fed and watered, she says, I'll come and move in with you. And I learned my lesson in the real world. What are you laughing at? Was that funny?
William 0:03:20 You've made producer Ben choke.
Jordan 0:03:22 So welcome to the real world. Did your mum say that to you as well? No. No, because she were middle class and nice. Yeah. We got told how it were.
William 0:03:32 I
Jordan 0:03:32 wouldn't have it any other way.
William 0:03:33 And when was the last time Wendy worked?
Jordan 0:03:34 Oh, oh, oh.
William 0:03:43 Answer the question.
Jordan 0:03:45 Can I just say, I was a mother of 4 and Graham worked away a lot, thank you very much. So I was there. My job was being a home provider. Thank you, William. Wait till I play that clip. Oh, oh, he's a bitch. Oh.
William 0:03:59 Love you, Wendy.
Jordan 0:04:00 There you go. What are you doing other than Titanic?
William 0:04:03 It's not— we've got 2 shows a day.
Jordan 0:04:05 Yeah, but what are you doing in between? We got gym, we go out after. I bet it's a big night on Saturday.
William 0:04:09 No, Thursday night apparently is the night you go out.
Jordan 0:04:12 Right, right.
William 0:04:13 Right on tonight.
Jordan 0:04:14 Student. So you got 2 nights on Saturday.
William 0:04:18 You do a matinee.
Jordan 0:04:18 On Saturday. And an evening.
William 0:04:20 Yeah. And then on Sunday, you do a matinee and an evening.
Jordan 0:04:23 That is a lot, to be fair.
William 0:04:24 Yeah. And on Sunday, we start half an hour earlier on both, 'cause Sunday.
Jordan 0:04:28 So what time do you finish on Sunday?
William 0:04:29 Be out the building for 9:30, probably.
Jordan 0:04:32 Ah, you'll be on for—
William 0:04:33 It's fine.
Jordan 0:04:33 You'll be on for—
William 0:04:35 As long as the trains are running, I should be alright.
Jordan 0:04:37 Heartbeat? What's that?
William 0:04:38 Heartbeat? Heartbeat hasn't been on for years, and that was on at 8 o'clock.
Jordan 0:04:41 Hey, do you know what? Everyone goes on about Heartbeat, but Where the Heart Is. Do you remember Where the Heart Is? Is that with Amanda Holden?
William 0:04:47 Or was that—
Jordan 0:04:48 No, what's the one you're holding in that?
William 0:04:50 She was in something.
Jordan 0:04:52 It was Prefab Sprout or something who sang the—
William 0:04:54 What?
Jordan 0:04:55 Maybe when the grass is— I'm sure we've done this. It's been 8 years. So if we've done this a few years ago, then sod it. Prefab Sprout, or whatever he's called, sang the theme tune.
William 0:05:05 Prefab Sprout?
Jordan 0:05:07 Yeah, he was actually from Yorkshire. Maybe when the grass is green, I will lie here. I will die where the heart is. Can we Google who sang Where the Heart Is?
William 0:05:19 And also, can we Google if Amanda Holden was in that? I'm sure she was in something.
Speaker F 0:05:22 I don't think she was in that.
Jordan 0:05:23 I think she was. Crossroads?
William 0:05:26 Who sang Where the Heart Is?
Speaker F 0:05:28 Prefab Sprout.
William 0:05:29 Gosh, it's like fastest finger first.
Jordan 0:05:31 Yeah, is that his name?
Speaker F 0:05:32 Prefab Sprout.
Jordan 0:05:33 Yeah.
Speaker F 0:05:34 Yeah.
Jordan 0:05:34 Is that his actual name? Just set— Do you lot know how to use Google? Just Google who sang—
Speaker F 0:05:41 His real name, it's an English rock band. From County Durham.
Jordan 0:05:44 Yeah.
Speaker F 0:05:46 Formed in 1978 by brothers Paddy and Martin McAloon.
Jordan 0:05:49 What was the singer called?
Speaker F 0:05:51 Paddy.
Jordan 0:05:52 No, they didn't. It was—
Speaker F 0:05:53 Wendy Smith.
Jordan 0:05:54 No. Anyway, we'll move on. Come on, we'll move on. It was Prefab Sprout or someone who sang it.
Speaker F 0:06:00 It's Prefab Sprout.
Jordan 0:06:02 Oh, Prefab Sprout.
Speaker F 0:06:04 And it's nothing to do with—
Jordan 0:06:05 We've got the wrong person.
Speaker F 0:06:06 Amanda Holden.
William 0:06:07 Okay, fine. Anyway, last week I said that Paddington was my biggest op. That's the bear, not the station. For those that don't speak Gen
Jordan 0:06:16 Z. What, you've transitioned to Paddington?
William 0:06:17 What?
Jordan 0:06:18 What are you on about?
William 0:06:19 My biggest op. Biggest op, it's like, it's Gen Z speak. You wouldn't know, but it's like—
Jordan 0:06:22 For what?
William 0:06:23 For like enemy.
Jordan 0:06:23 Oh.
William 0:06:24 Who's your biggest opposition? Like yours. You know when you go to do a joke, you're like, actually, no, we can't say
Jordan 0:06:33 that. No, go on.
William 0:06:33 Sam Thompson.
Jordan 0:06:35 Right, why does everyone always— you and Starkey and everyone else— he was— me and Sam—
William 0:06:41 I think he's excellent.
Jordan 0:06:42 He's ace. And we actually—
William 0:06:44 We had him on, um, when you were in the jungle. We had him on. Yeah.
Jordan 0:06:47 We've been on his podcast.
Speaker F 0:06:48 Did we?
Jordan 0:06:48 We've been— I've been on his podcast, and he's— we get on. People always put me against Sam.
William 0:06:55 Did we have him?
Speaker F 0:06:56 I think we did, yeah.
William 0:06:57 Yeah. So, our biggest opp means enemy. Who is your biggest enemy, your nemesis, etc.? Mine, Paddington the Bear. So, we asked the GNDivas on Instagram who their biggest fictional nemesis is. Obviously, Sam Thompson is real.
Jordan 0:07:13 He's not my enemy!
William 0:07:14 No, I know. I'm joking.
Jordan 0:07:15 I don't really have any enemies. Oh, I've got one, yeah.
William 0:07:18 Oh yeah.
Jordan 0:07:19 Yeah.
William 0:07:19 But also not fictional.
Jordan 0:07:21 Yeah, okay.
Speaker F 0:07:22 Present company excluded.
Jordan 0:07:24 Betty says, Paddington is also mine because he just looks so helpless and makes me cry. Okay.
William 0:07:30 Yeah. He was a bit bad. I see you, Paddington. Phoebe hates Mummy Pig from Peppa Pig because she's always fat-shaming Daddy Pig, who Phoebe says is low-key hot. Hopefully we've got a picture of Peppa Pig. Is that doing anything for anyone here?
Jordan 0:07:43 Daddy Pig. That's
William 0:07:43 Daddy Pig. Oh, Daddy Pig. Sorry, no, Peppa Pig. Finding Peppa Pig hot would be problematic.
Jordan 0:07:47 A lot of parents hate Peppa Pig. A lot of them.
William 0:07:50 Well, it's only because it's on loop, isn't
Jordan 0:07:51 it? No, no, because she's a little madam and it's quite problematic. Mummy Pig always shames Daddy Pig, and apparently Daddy Pig can be a bit misogynistic, I believe.
William 0:08:03 Can he? Daddy Pig?
Speaker F 0:08:06 He's part of the manosphere.
Jordan 0:08:08 Worse than Andrew Tate in some episodes.
Speaker F 0:08:10 The Piggosphere.
Jordan 0:08:11 The Piggosphere. Honestly, he's like the Andrew Tate of the Piggosphere.
William 0:08:14 Is he? Well, I can see why people speak of him so highly.
Jordan 0:08:17 Didn't have any of that with Pingu. No. Just got a slap round face with Pingu. Isn't that right? You knew where you were with him. Was Postman Pat shagging her next door? Was that the ongoing joke? Mrs. Goggins?
William 0:08:27 Yeah. I don't think so.
Jordan 0:08:28 I think they were. I think they were.
William 0:08:31 I need to rewatch it.
Jordan 0:08:33 I used to do the best impression of them with the tweenies.
William 0:08:35 The Tweenies.
Jordan 0:08:36 I'm Jake. I'm Milo. I'm Fizz. It's Bella.
Speaker F 0:08:44 That's rubbish. That's your— oh well. You lost confidence.
Jordan 0:08:47 You started well. Hey, hey, what? I used to sing it for my little brothers.
William 0:08:49 Go through them again.
Jordan 0:08:50 Hey, hey, what? They used to love it, and I was a bit older, but I used to watch it with them and I used to sing it to them. I was a good brother, you know. I used to go, hey, hey, what do you say? Why don't you come along with the Tweenies? Hey, hey, what do you say? Why don't you come and play with the Tweenies? You can sing with us, play games with us. You can run about and jump and shout every day. Come and play! Hey, hey, what do you say? Why don't you come along with the Tweenies? 'Cause I'm Milo, I'm Jake, I'm Bella. You had a bit of a lisp, Jacob. I'm— yeah. Oh, that is weird. That's really good. I've not sung that since I was about 11.
Speaker F 0:09:25 I think we need to send that to the West End.
Jordan 0:09:27 Thank you. Yes. Alright, let's go back to this. Andy said Pingu.
William 0:09:32 Oh, you literally just mentioned him.
Jordan 0:09:33 That bloody annoying knock-knock, and he was just a little twat to his parents. Alright, Andrew.
William 0:09:39 Okay. Laura asked, does Henry Hoover count? I hate his smug face, and it's the worst vacuum to use. I would agree.
Jordan 0:09:46 I— no, he's not. He's a good sucker, Henry. He's a good sucker.
William 0:09:48 Yeah, but the vacuum?
Jordan 0:09:49 No, I disagree with that.
William 0:09:51 No, I think the ones that are sort of round with the face on, I think Henry do make lots of other different products. I think is a horrific Hoover. Why do you want something— And then it goes on wheels, and then you pull it, and then it goes— It has a life of its own, and it knocks into something, and it chips your paint.
Jordan 0:10:05 Yeah.
William 0:10:05 No, I don't like them. Elaine is off my Christmas card list for this. She says, Mary Poppins. Turns up uninvited, judges everyone's housekeeping, and then floats away.
Jordan 0:10:14 Yeah, I'd agree with that.
William 0:10:15 It's like me.
Jordan 0:10:16 And Jenny just said, Thomas the Tank Engine, because he's a cunt.
William 0:10:19 Well, Jenny, that is— That's a bit harsh. He's an engine, for God's sake.
Jordan 0:10:26 Yeah, what's wrong with Thomas? Also—
Speaker F 0:10:27 Is he Ringo Starr?
William 0:10:28 No, Ringo Starr did the theme tune.
Jordan 0:10:31 No, you're right. No, you are right. It was—
William 0:10:34 Or narrated it. Narrated it.
Jordan 0:10:35 Narrated it. Yeah, he narrated it.
William 0:10:37 So maybe Ringo Starr actually did all of the voices.
Jordan 0:10:39 Go on, we'll do one more.
William 0:10:40 No, he's not fictional, but Kirsten's story about Nelson Mandela. The late Nelson Mandela. statesman was too funny to leave out. Nelson Mandela, RIP, was my childhood nemesis because in my childish brain, I saw mad cow disease and him on TV a lot at the same time. So I decided he'd brought mad cow disease to the UK. I must make it clear, I now understand as an adult how incredible he was. Yeah. Okay, well, good for you, Kirsten. Now look, this will be the last time it gets mentioned. I'm just being told to say this for this segment, but I'm in Titanic for another month. But we wondered what roles Jordan Don't go BBB when you've written it in the fucking script!
Jordan 0:11:22 Oh, we're seeing the real Dame William Hanssen now. You're not back— hey, sweetheart! I will not have them lot spoken to like that. You're not backstage at the— what theatre are you at?
Speaker F 0:11:33 Criterion.
Jordan 0:11:34 You're not backstage in the West End now. You're here.
William 0:11:36 I'd just like to say that was said with comedy. Oh my, I've actually made my ears go—
Jordan 0:11:40 I will not have you speaking to staff like that. Alright.
William 0:11:44 I was saying it as a joke. I actually used I swear in the show quite—
Jordan 0:11:47 Oh dear. Are your mum and dad going to watch it?
William 0:11:49 Not as far as I'm aware.
Jordan 0:11:50 Why not?
William 0:11:51 Because, well, I said if they're coming, I don't want to know.
Jordan 0:11:53 Okay.
William 0:11:54 I can know afterwards, obviously, but I don't want to know before. Anyway, I'm in Titanic for another month, it says here, but we wondered what roles Jordan and I should be cast in after that. So, what do we think of these? Who would be who? Megan said Regina and Cady in Mean Girls, obviously. Queen bitch and the nerdy new kid at school who wants to be popular. Presumably, I would be Regina George. Regina George, sorry.
Jordan 0:12:18 Regina?
William 0:12:19 Sorry, it's Latin for queen. Thank you. I've never had that on the mind. Yes, you could be Cady. I can see that. James said Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Rocky in Rocky Horror. Camp icon who gets their legs out, and the creature he creates— wow. Sexual plaything who wears gold hot pants.
Jordan 0:12:40 Let's do the time walk again. That's Frankie Horror, innit?
William 0:12:46 Frankie Horror?
Jordan 0:12:47 Oh no, Rocky Horror. Rocky Horror. Frankie goes to Hollywood.
William 0:12:50 Another James said Widow Twankey and Buttons.
Jordan 0:12:53 I've always wanted to be Buttons.
William 0:12:54 Well, we did do the Sexed Panto a few years ago. Oh no, we didn't. But yes, we could perhaps recreate that at some point. Sharon suggested Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady. Can't see how we play the roles of a well-spoken, snooty expert and an uneducated, famous hungry woman with terrible diction and grammar.
Jordan 0:13:14 I don't know what that reference is. I've never seen it, but it's made William laugh, and you absolutely love that, didn't you?
William 0:13:23 That was very funny. I like that.
Jordan 0:13:24 Eliza Doolittle, didn't she sing?
William 0:13:26 No, for God's sake.
Jordan 0:13:27 What did Eliza Doolittle sing?
William 0:13:30 Back up your troubles in my— oh, shut up.
Jordan 0:13:33 Oh, is that another enemy you've got there? Eliza Doolittle?
William 0:13:37 She's one song. It's true, but isn't she the daughter of someone?
Jordan 0:13:40 Doctor. Huh. Oh, get off, lads. Yeah, Dad used to—
Speaker F 0:13:47 Aren't you the daughter of someone?
William 0:13:48 Well, yes, sorry. Do
Jordan 0:13:50 you know what? I could have delivered that better. I went, oh yeah, Dad used to speak to animals. That would've been better.
William 0:13:54 Lots of people suggested Edward and Mickey, the twins from Blood Brothers, separated at birth, who grew up at different ends of the social spectrum. We've said that when we went to go and watch it, that production you loved, We said, oh my god, it's our story.
Jordan 0:14:05 That's our calling. We could be in a new production of Blood Brothers.
William 0:14:09 Yes. And they don't sing in that musical either, so—
Jordan 0:14:12 What was the song again? Mm-hmm.
William 0:14:14 What?
Jordan 0:14:15 That's very harsh. What was the song in it? What's the Blood Brothers song?
William 0:14:19 Oh god. It's the big Mrs. Johnson song at the end.
Jordan 0:14:23 Mrs. Johnson, you just gotta get a bit of a schouse. We could boss that.
William 0:14:28 We could do that. There were lots of suggestions for Jordan to play Billy Elliot.
Jordan 0:14:31 I've always said Billy Elliot, was my story. I just wanna dance at the ballet! I do always say that.
William 0:14:40 You do? Rhys said, working-class lad from the north who's more than comfortable in a tutu. Written for him. It is returning to London next year, so maybe— It's on tour as well in the UK, and then it comes to London.
Jordan 0:14:49 I'd love to go and see that.
William 0:14:50 We'll go and see it.
Jordan 0:14:51 It's a bit like being— What is it?
William 0:14:54 It's a bit— It's Electricity, is the song you're doing.
Jordan 0:14:56 Electricity.
William 0:14:57 Electricity. Mhm. Finally, Grace says, don't let Jordan do The Mousetrap, the famously long run. longest running West End show because then it'll end.
Jordan 0:15:06 Can we stop with these comments as well? On the official Disney Instagram page with millions of followers, loads of Gene Deavers going, well, that's it for Toy Story 5. You shitheads.
Speaker F 0:15:17 Keep it coming.
Jordan 0:15:18 No, it's not. That was literally Gene Deavers on the official Disney Instagram account. It's got like 20 million followers and they're going, well, that was fun whilst it lasted, Toy Story 5.
William 0:15:29 Didn't you have a cameo in Doctor Who?
Jordan 0:15:31 No.
William 0:15:32 Because that's just been axed. You're one of the monsters.
Jordan 0:15:35 No, I've not been in Doctor Who, I don't think. Well, you lose your track, don't you? Uh, we've got more of your emails, messages—
William 0:15:43 Do you?
Speaker F 0:15:44 Do you? I
William 0:15:44 can count them on one nose.
Jordan 0:15:46 We've got more of your emails, messages, and letters after the break.
William 0:18:54 Welcome back, GNDivas. Now, before we get to your responses, we have recently discussed whether it's ever acceptable to cheat on your hairdresser.
Jordan 0:19:07 Nope.
William 0:19:08 after Liam admitted to seeing a fill-in stylist while his regular hairdresser was on a very long holiday, only to discover he actually preferred the new guy. We've had a response from Claire from the Teen Commandments podcast with Sarah Cox, who has sent us a voice note with some insider knowledge from the hairdresser's side on the chair, because Claire, as well as being a podcaster, is a hairdresser. So what is Claire's take?
Speaker H 0:19:28 My take on this is that I don't think you are ever disloyal to a hairdresser if you decide to move. If a hairdresser goes away on holiday, they know that they run the risk of losing clients, because clients will still get their hair done while they're on holiday. Or it could be that they've just found a better hairdresser. The bottom line is it's Luke's hair. He's one wearing it every day. He should not feel disloyal, and everybody should be absolutely fine with it. Hope that helps. Bye.
Jordan 0:19:55 Fair enough.
William 0:19:57 Well, that's basically what we said.
Jordan 0:19:59 How sweet is Claire?
William 0:20:00 Claire, I'd come to see you if it weren't for the fact I'm very loyal to my Angela.
Jordan 0:20:05 How long have you had Andrea for?
William 0:20:06 Angela.
Jordan 0:20:07 Angela.
William 0:20:07 Since 2018, 2019.
Jordan 0:20:10 Who did it? Oh yeah, he said he did it in Drayles then, didn't he?
William 0:20:12 Yeah, indeed. She was Gemma slash Kate. I was calling him the wrong— her the wrong name for years.
Jordan 0:20:17 Ollie does mine.
William 0:20:19 Does he?
Jordan 0:20:20 Big up Ollie.
William 0:20:22 Big up Ollie.
Speaker F 0:20:23 Yes. How often do you go for the haircut?
Jordan 0:20:25 Try once a week. Yeah, I need it. This, you can tell when I've— it's mainly for me beard. 'Cause he just makes it look so good. Beard and sides. Sometimes does me arsehole.
William 0:20:38 The Princess Royal has a similar service. Anonymous heard our collaboration episode with Tony and Ryan and wanted to share a bit of advice. Hi boys, I was listening to your collaboration episode with Tony and Ryan, and I apologise in advance for the obscenity of the following information. But as someone, a woman, who has endured a similar chilly fingers-induced mishap with my boyfriend, I felt that I should share some helpful knowledge gained from that experience should someone else find themselves in such an ordeal. I cannot speak to the etiquette, but I can in fact attest that the solution is not desperate splashing with cold water, but oral sex. In short, my ever-patient and, dare I say, extremely talented boyfriend managed to lick the spice and thus the pain away. Your shamelessly anonymous.
Jordan 0:21:24 Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. So she had spicy enough… Up there?
William 0:21:30 Mm.
Jordan 0:21:31 How?
William 0:21:32 Well, presumably on the fingers. Didn't realise it was on the fingers.
Jordan 0:21:35 Oh, and then— Oh, what a little love! Oh, he's a keeper. Bless him. Is that just me that find that really heartwarming? He licked the spice out of a fanny.
William 0:21:47 Does it work for other body parts that, you know—
Speaker F 0:21:51 We'll have to try it.
Jordan 0:21:52 Why not?
William 0:21:52 Alright, go get a vindaloo.
Jordan 0:21:56 I'm sorry, but—
William 0:21:57 What?
Jordan 0:21:58 I'm not kink shaming here, but nobody wants rimming after a curry.
William 0:22:01 No, you don't need to eat it. You just will just sort of rub it a bit round.
Jordan 0:22:04 Just go and get some paprika or something then.
William 0:22:06 Alright.
Jordan 0:22:07 Ben, do you want to do that on camera? That'll get the YouTube viewers up. William rimming—
William 0:22:13 Get us banned from YouTube.
Jordan 0:22:14 William rimming paprika out your arsehole.
Speaker F 0:22:17 Problem with that is it would be more red.
Jordan 0:22:19 Paprika's not red. Oh yeah, it is red.
Speaker F 0:22:23 For the set, guys. You get—
William 0:22:24 Oh, I see. Yes.
Jordan 0:22:26 For the set.
William 0:22:28 It'd look like the table, wouldn't it? Cayenne. Anyway, Cayenne has a—
Jordan 0:22:35 Ah, Jesus Christ.
William 0:22:37 Cayenne. Cayenne pepper. Has a question for— Ugh, God. Says— it's a question for you, Jordan, so pay attention. Oh, here we go. Katie in Sexted. Recently, I attended Capital Summertime Ball at the famous Wembley Stadium. This was my second time seeing Jordan in a Wembley venue, one being at the Help I Sexted My Boss Live tour, and 2 at the ball.
Jordan 0:23:04 Mad.
William 0:23:04 As a huge fan of the pod, Jordan, and yourself, William, I had to make a poster, so I decided to make a sexted poster to take to the ball. I've seen it!
Jordan 0:23:11 I was trying to find you. I've seen it on the screens backstage. Bless your little heart.
William 0:23:16 I will attach a picture of the result. Oh, and I should say, security did try to take it off me. Obviously, They're Sexted fans. Oh, I see. I have one big question. Did Jordan see this on the day? Well, there we go, we've got your answer. Describe the sign.
Jordan 0:23:28 So it's a picture of me dressed as William's mum on stage, picture of me as, uh,
William 0:23:32 Kylie,
Jordan 0:23:33 Kylie, and a picture of me and William as Kylie, and then a picture of me squatting as Kylie. And it says, I heart Jordan North, help, I'm at Wembley. I did see it, Pepper, and I'm really—
William 0:23:43 Kyan.
Jordan 0:23:44 Oh, Kyan, sorry, Kyan. I did see it, and I'm so glad you've got in touch, genuinely, yeah, because I seen it just before I went on backstage. I think it was during the Take That performance, so thank you so much.
William 0:23:57 Aww. Ironically, security tried to take that.
Jordan 0:23:59 Tried to take what?
William 0:24:02 The sign.
Speaker F 0:24:03 We're on fire!
Jordan 0:24:06 I don't—
William 0:24:07 I think— It's the pepper. Megan wants us to— God, I'm gonna be shit tonight on stage. I've actually wasted it all here. Megan wants us to help her settle a cleaning debate. Sure you've got the right podcast. Hello, William and Jordan, et al. I was hoping you could settle a small argument for me. I recently purchased a new Henry Hoover and was very excited for it to arrive and give the house a good clean. I said to my boyfriend in excitement, I've bought a new Hoover. He proceeded to correct me and say, I think you mean vacuum cleaner. It's not a Hoover unless it's branded. Now, I've always said—
Speaker F 0:24:36 That is the brand.
Jordan 0:24:37 I think it is a Henry Hoover, isn't it?
Speaker F 0:24:39 Henry Hoover is the brand where the phrase comes from.
William 0:24:42 Well, Henry Hoover, yeah.
Speaker F 0:24:44 You can't say it's not a Hoover and it's made by Hoover. It's not Henry the vacuum, is it?
William 0:24:48 Yeah, but are Henrys made by Hoover? There was Henry Hoover the person.
Jordan 0:24:51 Yeah, I think they are, aren't they?
William 0:24:52 I think it is different.
Jordan 0:24:54 Victor Vacuum.
William 0:24:55 What?
Jordan 0:24:56 You're the funny one today.
William 0:24:58 Yeah.
Jordan 0:24:58 That was shit.
William 0:25:00 Now, I've always said Hoover, and that I'm hoovering the house with no complaints from others. I think vacuuming sounds a bit medical. So who's correct? Do you Hoover or vacuum clean a carpet?
Speaker F 0:25:10 Oh, Henry is not made by Hoover.
Jordan 0:25:11 Yeah. Oh, jeez.
William 0:25:13 It is like, yeah, technically, technically, Megan, your boyfriend is correct.
Jordan 0:25:17 But you say Hoover, don't you?
William 0:25:19 It's one of those words,
Jordan 0:25:20 yeah. There's other things you say, like Google. Yeah. You say Google it instead of search it.
William 0:25:24 Yeah, you could be on Ask Jeeves, but you still say Google. How? Yeah, I don't know if that probably isn't a thing anymore. No. But yeah, it's become one of those, those sort of verbs that is inspired by a noun. It has become a verb, but we still use it.
Jordan 0:25:38 And it's the same as cooker.
Speaker F 0:25:39 No.
Jordan 0:25:39 Is that not a brand?
Speaker F 0:25:41 No, I don't think so. It's like saying if a television show gets cancelled, you say it's been Jordaned.
William 0:25:45 Yeah.
Jordan 0:25:46 Nobody says that!
William 0:25:49 They will now. Todd from—
Jordan 0:25:51 I really hope there's a Toy Story 6. I really hope there is.
William 0:25:55 Well, there won't be for a while.
Jordan 0:25:57 'Cause I can't live with that on my conscience.
Speaker F 0:25:59 If Toy Story 6 ever comes out, we should have a big party.
William 0:26:02 Yes.
Jordan 0:26:04 Oh, the relief. Please tell me there's gonna be a Toy Story 6.
William 0:26:07 Todd from Ohio in America has been catching up—
Jordan 0:26:09 Ohio?
William 0:26:09 On some episodes.
Jordan 0:26:11 Trying to be out-funny now, and he's just not.
William 0:26:15 Dear Sex Ed team, on a recent episode, a listener posed the dilemma of clogging a public loo and causing major flooding. Jordan quipped the idea of carrying Tupperware or a Pringles can for such emergencies. With this in mind, I wanted to share a story from over on my side of the pond. An attorney— that's a lawyer— in the US found himself in hot water for targeting people with a Pringles can filled with his excrement and was suspended from the practice of law for 1 year as a result.
Jordan 0:26:38 Fucking rightly so. One year. Dirty bastard.
William 0:26:41 The act of filling Pringles cans was an apparent fetish where he would leave the cans in public for unsuspecting victims. The court noted the evidence in this case shows that despite societal standards of cleanliness and decorum, the defendant failed to control his own bizarre impulses to place faeces-filled cans out in public for unsuspecting people to find. Best, Todd.
Jordan 0:27:00 He got suspended for a year?
William 0:27:02 Well, that's lovely to know, Todd. I'm so glad you shared that with us.
Jordan 0:27:05 Is that true?
William 0:27:06 Yeah.
Jordan 0:27:07 Oh, you'd think he'd get taken off the bar, is it?
William 0:27:11 Barred? Well, I don't know if they have the bar in America, if they call it like we do. I don't know what the term is.
Jordan 0:27:16 What's the term here? Disbarred. Disbarred. Who's going round shitting in Pringles?
William 0:27:21 Well, you were suggesting a few weeks ago that's what people could do.
Jordan 0:27:23 Yeah, but not as a first stage.
William 0:27:25 That lawyer might have taken your advice.
Jordan 0:27:27 He was purposely shitting in Pringles cans and then leave it in the street.
William 0:27:30 Yeah, don't do it, actually.
Jordan 0:27:31 No. Horrible. Be a good Netflix series though, wouldn't it? You'd watch it. You would.
William 0:27:36 Get Pringles to sponsor it.
Jordan 0:27:37 Is it true the guy who invented Pringles was buried in a giant Pringles case? I think that is true. No, no, no. I'm thinking the guy who invented Tupperware. Sorry, I got mixed up.
Speaker F 0:27:48 What?
Jordan 0:27:49 Yeah, they did.
William 0:27:50 I don't know if any of that is true.
Jordan 0:27:52 It's open casket, 'cause they couldn't find the lid. That was good for me, wasn't
William 0:28:00 it? That was very good. You almost outbeat me.
Jordan 0:28:02 Yeah, almost. Almost. Not quite. Yeah. It's not a competition. No. Some days you shine, most days I shine. Let's finish with our comment of the week. This can be a comment from Spotify, YouTube, or any of our socials.
William 0:28:14 The honourable mentions go to David, who commented on Instagram about your roleplay where you got Ben to say, I'm coming. It would've been more realistic if Ben had just done a grunt.
Jordan 0:28:23 Oh, Ben's grunt.
William 0:28:24 Famous thing. Yeah, Ben's grunt.
Jordan 0:28:25 Yeah.
William 0:28:26 Grace—
Jordan 0:28:26 When did we do that? Was that last week?
William 0:28:27 After— yeah, I think so. A week or two ago. Grace commented on YouTube, I guess the new chairs will stop Jordan rocking backwards and falling again. Alas.
Jordan 0:28:35 I've been— I've been suggesting maybe getting me a swirly chair.
William 0:28:39 Absolutely not. And our comment of the week is from Tom, who commented on YouTube to say, love the new studio.
Jordan 0:28:44 Well, Tom, thank you. I'm surprised we found yours with all the love for the new studio.
William 0:28:49 Don't be mean.
Jordan 0:28:50 I'm not being mean.
William 0:28:51 I like the fact people have opinions.
Jordan 0:28:53 Yeah, and you know what they say about opinions?
William 0:28:55 We've all got one.
Jordan 0:28:56 They're like arseholes, everyone's got one. There you are.
William 0:28:59 Some are red.
Jordan 0:28:59 Some studios are.
William 0:29:01 Yes.
Jordan 0:29:02 Remember, you can listen to new episodes every Tuesday and Friday and 24 hours before anywhere else on Global Player.
