5 Live Weather Review

BBC Radio 5 Live

December 2014

5 Live’s Simon King joins Professor Liz Bentley, Chief Executive of the Royal Meteorological Society, to take a look back at how the weather impacted our lives across the year.

Simon discovers the science behind the Winter storms along with the impact it had on the lives of those living in flood hit areas.

Scottish ski resorts enjoyed record snowfall in the Spring and we speak to Heather Negus from Nevis Range about the impact this had on their season.

We also investigate how the Spanish Plume caused Summer storms which lead to flash flooding and spectacular lightning storms across the UK.

As well as our work with 5 Live, we produce content for the UK’s biggest broadcasters and platforms. Our team delivers daily, weekly and one-off radio shows and podcasts across a range of genres including music, entertainment, comedy, factual, news and sport. We also deliver commercial production and station sound, as well as offering studio hire at MediaCityUK.
