Commercial Activation Producer

Audio Always is a creative media company that makes content people love across radio, podcasts, audiobooks and beyond. We produce some of the UK’s most popular podcasts, from Help I Sexted My Boss to The Jack & Ash Show, that brands want to be part of. This role sits right at the heart of that, bringing our commercial partnerships to life across audio, video and social. If you love making commercial content that audiences actually want to hear, this is the job for you.

The role

As Commercial Activation Producer, you’ll lead the delivery of our branded content projects, from multi-deliverable brand partnerships to campaigns that run across audio, video and social. You’ll be the day-to-day contact clients rely on from kick-off to final delivery, while staying hands-on in the script and the edit, including host-read sponsorships and social content across our podcasts.

You’ll be based at our Manchester base in Media City, working closely with the Head of Commercial Activation, our sales teams, show teams and talent to make sure every campaign feels like a natural part of the show and lands with its audience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the delivery of branded content projects, working with our Production Manager to make sure they’re properly staffed.
  • Acting as the day-to-day client contact on your projects, from kick-off to final delivery.
  • Building and overseeing project plans and timelines, and flagging risks early.
  • Scripting sponsorship reads and host reads that sound like the show, not an advert.
  • Editing audio, video and social assets, on time and to the highest standards.
  • Working closely with show teams so campaigns land on time and feel native to each show.
  • Creating demos and clips that help our sales teams sell.
  • Ensuring all content meets Editorial Guidelines and regulatory standards, including advertising codes.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience producing commercial or branded content in podcasting, audio or digital media.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple deliverables, timelines and stakeholders.
  • Confidence in front of clients: running kick-offs, progress updates and feedback rounds.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to turn a client brief into a script that sounds like the host.
  • Solid knowledge of audio and video editing software.
  • An understanding of what brands need and what audiences will genuinely enjoy.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to handle multiple campaigns and projects at pace.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in the success of the team around you.

Great shows are made by people who love what they do.

If you’re as passionate about creative, high-quality content as we are, we’d love to hear from you, so send us your CV.
