Hobbycraft is the country’s leading arts and crafts superstore retail chain, with over 90 stores across the UK. They pride themselves in being there to support everyone on their crafting journey, from mums looking to encourage their creative kids, to student artists, expert knitters, model making hobbyists and more.
Hobbycraft wanted a commercial production partner who could support them at brand and local level, to deliver a consistent sound across their audio advertising. They also wanted to streamline the audio process for their marketing team when delivering quick turnaround adverts for new store openings.
We created a bespoke music track to help enhance Hobbycraft’s brand sound. This was used across all their advertising, not only for consistency and recall, but to make the production process more efficient and cost effective.
By understanding the brand messaging and target and the audience, we worked with the Hobbycraft team to select a voice for all audio advertising. This helped to deliver a consistent sound across all national and local store opening campaigns.
Delivering consistent messaging was key for the marketing team, so we developed a series of audio templates that could be easily updated to reflect new offers or store launches. Not only did this streamline the commercial production process, it saved Hobbycraft valuable time during their internal approval process.
