Sara Cox and Clare Hamilton’s hit podcast
The Teen Commandments joined Audio Always this week.
What began in 2025 as a passion project recorded independently from Sara Cox’s shed has grown into a much-loved podcast with a hugely engaged fan base. After hitting Number 1 in Apple’s top charts during the week after its launch with continued audience growth, the show has now surpassed one million download sand was named by Apple as one of their ‘ Best’ podcasts of 2025.
Now, The Teen Commandments is entering its next chapter with Audio Always, one of the UK’s largest independent audio production companies. Hosted by beloved broadcaster Sara Cox and her best friend of more than 30 years, Clare Hamilton, The Teen Commandments is less of an advice podcast and more a hilarious “parenting panic room” (The Guardian).
With five teenagers between them, Sara and Clare are deep in the teenage trenches and offer listeners solidarity, survival tips and plenty of laughs. Alongside their own children’s antics, they’re also forced to confront the ghosts of their own ‘idiotic’ teenage behaviour, as history repeats itself in real time.
Once a week, the duo also hand the mic to their audience with special ‘Your Turn’ episodes, featuring hilarious stories sent in by listeners. New episodes ofThe Teen Commandments are available every Monday and Wednesday.
The move to Audio Always marks the next chapter for the podcast, reaching new listeners while staying true to the genuine, no frills spirit that has made it a hit in the first place.
A fresh studio with elements of Sara’s shed will give listeners the familiar sense of home that makes the podcast so unique, and episodes will be available on all platforms includingApple, Spotify, Amazon Music and to watch on YouTube.
Audio Always will also be supporting with socials on the shows new Instagram and TikTok accounts. Alongside this they’ll be assisting with marketing and driving commercial revenue with Acast.
