The podcast is a twisting tale of both political and supernatural power, when Gilles d’Ettore, the mayor of a small town in France, gets bewitched by a mystic, Sophia Martinez.
It’s a co-production with Bite Your Tongue Productions, by exec-producers Ailsa Rochester and Kelly Windsor Burgin, producer Pulama Kaufman and sound designer Craig Edmondson.
Following on from chart-topping True Crime classics such as Carrie Jade Does Not Exist, Answers For Claudia and The Pitcairn Trials, The Mystic & The Mayor is the latest limited series to debut on Wondery+, before releasing widely across all podcast platforms.
