We are partnering with BBC Radio 1 and the Student Radio Association to offer a fantastic position for a Production Trainee across our new Radio 1 Anthems commissions!

We create content across various genres, focusing on young audiences through BBC pop networks and original podcasts. Our current productions for Radio 1 include popular shows like Life Hacks, Future Soul, and Future Pop.

We are seeking a Production Trainee to join our Youth team and contribute to the development of three exciting new shows for the Radio 1 Anthems stream. You’ll play a key role in producing content that helps young audiences discover and reconnect with iconic music and artists from the 2000s and 2010s.

Who You Are

– A music enthusiast with a particular fondness for hits from the 2000s and 2010s.
– An avid fan of Radio 1, fully immersed in youth culture.
– Experienced in Student Radio, with at least one year of volunteering.
– Passionate about wanting to become a Producer.
– Currently in your final year of university or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months).
– Passionate about radio and eager to learn.
